7.2/10

My stay at Camino Real Pedregal was comfortable overall, with clean rooms and a great buffet breakfast. However, the location left a bit to be desired, as traffic was often pretty chaotic. The service at times fell short of expectations, particularly regarding room service and English proficiency. While there were definitely positives, I feel the hotel could improve on a few fronts.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were good-sized and nicely furnished, though some carpets had noticeable stains, which was off-putting. The bedding was comfortable, which was a plus.
Service
5.0
Staff were polite, but their limited English made some interactions frustrating. Room service took much longer than expected, and my billing issue wasn’t resolved promptly.
Location
5.0
Though situated near a shopping center and UNAM, the access to the hotel was tricky due to heavy traffic. It felt like being in a corporate enclave, which wasn't ideal for a leisure trip.
Dining
7.0
I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast with fresh fruit and traditional Mexican dishes, but lunch and dinner options were hit-or-miss, often falling short of expectations.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities included room service and laundry, but the high prices for these services were a drawback. WiFi was also charged separately, which felt outdated.

7.4/10

I had a mixed experience at Camino Real Pedregal. The room was spacious with a stunning view, but I dealt with noisy surroundings and some maintenance issues. While the staff was generally helpful and the location worked for my business needs, the dining options could use improvement, especially considering the upscale pricing.

Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the mountains, but it also had large stains on the carpet that gave a poor first impression.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly and pleasant, but I did have some hiccups, like incorrect charges that took a while to resolve.
Location
5.0
The location was decent for business, but not ideal for tourists since it’s hard to walk anywhere and mainly requires a cab to get around.
Dining
5.0
Dining at the hotel was pricey without being really good, and I found it more worthwhile to eat elsewhere.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like the gym, which is open 24/7, were good, but the hotel maintenance overall could use a bit of attention.

6.0/10

I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable but lacking in some areas. The buffet breakfast was a highlight with fresh fruits and traditional Mexican dishes. However, the location in Pedregal left much to be desired, especially with the constant traffic congestion. I would recommend using Uber for transportation as taxis were quite pricey and not very reliable.

Rooms
7.0
My room was clean, resembling hospital-like standards, but it did feel a bit old. It had a king-size bed, which was comfortable, but the overall impression was that it could use a bit of maintenance.
Service
5.0
The service varied; I found the restaurant manager to be kind and helpful, while the administration service left much to be desired. They mishandled the billing for my group, which was quite frustrating.
Location
5.0
The location was not very appealing, with nothing really to explore within walking distance. It’s mainly chosen for its proximity to business venues, but the traffic at the exit was a hassle.
Dining
6.0
Dining at the hotel has a spacious atmosphere, but it was a bit pricey. I was shocked to find that a glass of orange juice cost $55 and coffee $44, which felt excessive for what I received.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had decent facilities with room service and 24/7 gym access, but again, some of the services felt overpriced. It would be better to dine in the restaurant rather than relying on room service.

6.0/10

My stay at Camino Real Pedregal was comfortable and clean, but it did come with its drawbacks. While I enjoyed the good buffet breakfast with fresh fruits and traditional Mexican dishes, the location left much to be desired, especially with the traffic outside being consistently jammed. The hotel felt somewhat like a corporate enclave, which made the atmosphere less engaging. 🚗🍽️

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean but quite dated, featuring old carpets that definitely gave off a less-than-ideal impression. The beds were comfortable, yet I found the air conditioning to be rather noisy. Overall, it was functional but could use some updating.
Service
5.0
Service levels varied; while the room service was rather slow and communication was a bit challenging due to language barriers, the restaurant staff seemed generally uninterested in my requests, which was disappointing.
Location
5.0
The location is a bit tricky, primarily suitable for those visiting the nearby hospital. It felt isolated and not very pedestrian-friendly, making Uber the better transport choice despite the traffic chaos.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were hit or miss. I loved the breakfast, but other meals were less impressive, with dinner standing out as particularly poor. The spacious dining area was nice, but the food quality didn’t always meet expectations.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities could be better; while they have a business center that requires payment, I felt disappointed by the limited service options, especially for an international business traveler.

7.0/10

My stay at Camino Real Pedregal was a mixed bag. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was good with fresh fruits and traditional Mexican egg dishes. However, the location left much to be desired, as it felt disconnected and noisy due to the heavy traffic outside. Overall, it’s decent for business trips, but not ideal for tourists.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were clean but somewhat dated. I noticed large stains on the carpet which made me uneasy about cleanliness, and there were minor maintenance issues like a cracked wash basin. The view from my room was great, but the amenities in the room were basic.
Service
6.0
The staff was friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about my safety. However, they appeared overwhelmed during busy times with long queues at the front desk.
Location
5.0
While the hotel’s proximity to UNAM was convenient for my meetings, it felt unattractive and isolated. Walking was not an option for getting to nearby places, as there was nothing within easy reach.
Dining
6.0
Dining at the hotel was a mixed experience. The breakfast was excellent, but room service prices were quite steep. I found better value at the restaurant downstairs.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities were basic. I appreciated the 24/7 gym access, though the overall decor needed some maintenance.
